Yes, they have to warn you about things like that, so you don't try to break redline getting out a situation, have the engine kill, you almost die not getting out of the situation, and you sue Saab because your engine cut out when they made it to do that. Blah blah you get the idea :) I always sit down and go cover to cover with a manual when I get a car, and I distinctly remember reading about that for my new Saab (my old one couldn't have hit redline if I put rocket fuel in it... hehehe)
