Actually it should be easy. A small flat screwdriver inserted at the rear of the switch module should pop it out. Careful not to mar the plastic. There's a small amount of slack before the connector. Other way with 5-speed, is pull off shift boot, reach behind switch assembly and push it up and out.Good luck
