Subject: '87 900S Clutch Bleeding Help
I would appreciate any help anyone could offer on bleeding the clutch
on an '87 900S.
Replaced the brake master cylinder and hydraulic line from the clutch
master to slave. This was after the brake master ran dry a few times.
The clutch master and slave cylinders appear OK. So, obviously air has
been introduced into the system.
Bleeding the clutch at the slave, and keeping the brake master filled,
I will start to get a good clutch. Continuing to bleed for awhile,
then I will get air again.
What am I doing wrong? Is there anything unusual about bleeding the
clutch on these cars? Will try again tomorrow. My helper today was
not car knowledgable. Will have someone better tomorrow.
