Subject: Windshield Wiper Problem



I have a '97 900 S.
My windshield wipers do not return to the down position when I turn them
off.
The dealer tells me I need a new motor ($275.00).
It would seem to me that I have a bad relay or capacitor.  Do I really need
to replace the entire windshield wiper assembly.
Any suggestions?
