Subject: Re: How do I test the DI unit?

No I do not have any special access to shop manuals. When people here in Sweden need a manual they usually go to the library and borrow one......so there is not much I can share with you (sorry!). Shop manuals are generally available from saab here in sweden, I think they cost about $20 a piece. Dont know what the situation is for newer models. I am not really interested in an argument about what will kill the DI unit and not. If you think its ok to run it upside down, thats, as I said, fine with me. But since I have information that clearly says you should NOT do that I think its a nice thing to share it with the rest of you. If you or any one else find this information to be not thrustworthy, just ignore it or whatever (its your DI unit, not mine!). Its not my mission in life to convince you that there might be a problem running that DI unit upside down. I guess its the same for all information you find on the net or elsewhere, you allways have to determine the credibility of the messenger and info itself. You have found me to be not thrustworthy which is ok for me, I can live with that. As for your question about cornering and hard stops I dont have any bullet proof answer, but I can think of a few things that makes these two senarios different. However, I really dont see the point of such a discussion since you obviously already have decided that I am feeding you with incorrect information. I think thats about all I have to say to you on this subject.
