Hey fellows, I own an 85 900 (2.0 8-valve MFI) that won't get past 60km (approx. 35mph) in 3rd gear up serious mountains. Its top speed is somewhere around 160km (100mph) near the redline. The man who sold me the car bought it in Germany 15 years ago, and when he took it to N. America emmissions requirements forced the installation of a catalytic converter, which he says accounts for a loss in the 110hp the car originally had. Still, shouldn't my car have more power than this? Is there anything I can do to make it more ballsy? I had considered trying some STP Fuel Injection cleaner to see if that might help, but one friend advised against it. Any advice?
