Subject: Stalling at start

My 1987 900S starts aright, but stalls out unless I hold my foot on the gas pedal for a minute or so and keep the RPMs steady. Then when I let my foot off the gas it takes a few minutes to find a steady idle and regulate itself. I know that it is suppose to take a few minutes at first to regulate itself, but it is the stalling that worries me. We have changed the fuel filter, added fuel injector cleaner twice and changed the fuel pressure regulator. A mechanic told us it was the Air Intake Sensor/Controller, but the part store says their is no such part. Any other suggestions? Thank you, Tracey
