Sounds like a faulty current limit relay in the generator, the lights
will allways dip a little, but the generator should pick that up in
just a fraction of a second, the fan consumes a lot of energy, but not
that much that it should take the generator seconds to pick up.
As a comparison we can take the headlight, when I put on the
headlights on my girlfriends 9000 T, you can notice a short (<0,1
seconds) fade in the instrument lights, and that is if you stare at
them at the same time as you put on the headlight, the headlight on
that car consists of the original 2 x 60 W + 2 x 100 W and 2 x 55 W
auxilary lights.
