I had a 1983 900T 5 spd with 195,234 miles on it in October 93. I had the oil and filter changed and the Slick 50 installed. About 2000 miles later I had oil and coolant mixing in my coolant resevoir. Teflon or PTFE is a solid and not intended for use in engines. One of the fine print things on the Slick 50 then was do not use in high mileage engines. After my incident, I met a number of people who had similar expericences with Slick 50. There is always the potential for teflon to block the oil passages. If that happens goodbye engine. Another product people don't pay attention to is Gumout Spray Carb and Choke Cleaner. The can has a disclaimer that specifically says do not use on car with fuel injection. I use the Berryman's products or B&G. A lot of people don't read and don't care. I got burned once. I don't plan on it again. Ken Washington 87 9000S 87 900S 83 900T
