Assuming you black rubber/vinyl trim is badly sun faded try a product
called "Black Again".  I got some from Swedish Auto Specialties
(www.sasab.com) and its great.  Also found it locally.  There are separate
exterior and interior versions.  Both work well and outlast anything I've
tried on vinyl or rubber.
