The V6 is slower than the turbo, but smoother - the turbo has an almighty kick in it, whereas the V6 requires a few more revs to keep going, but does so perfectly well. Personally, I would have said that the V6 is a little quieter than the turbo, but when I had my 94 900 SE Turbo, I drove a V6 first, turbo second, and preferred the extra performance of the T. I think there's only about half a second in it from 0-60, but the turbo has far more mid-range power.
