Subject: Re: 99 viggen good buy???

>Would anyone recommend buying a 99 viggen with 16K miles. I love the look >and performance of the car but how is it for reliability. How much are they asking for it? I've been looking for a Viggen, not very seriously, but casually for about a year, and that sounds like a nice car with low miles. Don't be suckered in by anyone that says it is a "collector's item", either. They are hard to find, but their values plummet the first 2 years. On the plus side, you get a fabulous pre-owned car for about half the price of when it was new. Reliability on these should be about the same as the 9-3 SE. I don't remember seeing any TSB's that were Viggen specific. I do think that it will be more reliable than the Audi, though. JJ
