Our Viggen is my wife's daily driver- we have haven't had any trouble with reliability. If you are concerned about warranty issues I would wait until your warranty expires. But aside from that I think it would be in your best interest to talk to the service manager at your local dealer and discuss your warranty options. The ECM upgrade was flawless. I did have some down time though because I had to ship the unit itself to Abbott for the programming.
