As your car seems to be well serviced this may not be > the case for you, but Saabs to seem to like frequent plug changes. Well this is not my experience. The plug cleaning system easily extends the life of the NGK spark plugs to 24k miles. If all other things have been checked, the head gasket might be failing. That certainly cured a lot of poor running problems for me at one fell swoop. Get a read out of the "CHECK ENGINE" code. Johannes
