I didn't expect a dealer to give me retail value on a trade. I just believed that a $33k European car would hold at least half of its value after 3 years. Having seen similar cars selling for upwards of $20k (dealer retail) and looking at KBB.com, etc seeing dealer retail values around $22k, I was just shocked upon hearing the $13k trade in value. That's all.
