I'd suggest another reason or two as I don't think they have a problem with a reputation for (lack of) reliability and I don't think the 4-cyl is an issue, as it's most always a turbo. One important reason for high "depreciation" is that the cars go out the door for $4K less than list at the end of the model year. This does a number on the price of used vehicles. Another reason is that they are a little "oddball". You like them, I like them, but to most folks they are just a little out of the mainstream. That means there is less interest in them and the price has to be lower to compensate. Bob
