Subject: '02 9-3 SE CD Changer?

I have scoured the net on every Saab bulletin board I can find for information about an aftermarket CD Changer for my 2002 9-3 SE. Here's what I've found: -- Most posts state that there is absolutely NO aftermarket changer unit that will work with the existing head unit; that you must purchase the one offered by a Saab dealer. -- Some posts state that there are Clarion, Alpine, and Panasonic changers that can be "married" to the head unit by the Tech II, but only by a Saab dealer. -- Still other posts state that even Circuit City can "marry" a changer to the head unit - no Saab involvement necessary. -- Lastly, I'm seeing a few posts that claim ANY changer unit that will plug into the cable will work properly, if only you remove fuses 9 and 15 after installing it, start car, enter radio code (??), replace fuses 9 and 15, blah, blah, blah. WHAT IS THE TRUTH?! Can *anybody* who has actually *successfully* installed a non-Saab dealer purchased CD Changer please let me know? Thanks, Tim La Plata, MD '02 9-3 SE Hazelnut
