Hey, way to dodge a bullet ! The steering wheel is definitely in the way in the NG900/9-3. There might be a fix, but I haven't had time to research and execute it. I noticed that on the NG900, there is an unused "indicator" on the dashboard halfway between the "cruise" light/indicator and the "rear fog" light/indicator. It looks like two little headlights back to back. You can only see it if you shine a flashlight directly at the dash or park in direct sun (I noticed it in my convertible with the top down one day). It would probably not be hard to tap off the foglight switch and drive a bulb in this socket (After you spend a lot of time removing the dash, of course). Bob
