As far as I'm concerned, it's not at all about the leather seats - they make little to no difference. The age of the car is also largely immaterial. The 900 changed very little through the production run. My preference is for a 16vT, which means 1986 or later. Say a good condition 1986 16vT is £400. A low mileage (130k) adds a couple of hunderd. Full SSH adds another £200. As far as parts go, a new turbo is at least £150, a new clutch £120, and a rebuilt rack £150. Add to that the hassle of fitting (or the expense, if you pay someone to do it), and it all mounts. A set of new tyres adds at least £160. If the car really is in such good condition, it makes it quite a rare find - nice 16vTs are getting thin on the ground - so that adds a little more. A saab nut (like me) would happily pay that much, *if*, big *if*, the car is as good as the description. Now, tell me more about your car... -- Grunff
