I received a note from saab stating test drive a car and get a $50 gift certificate from REI...so I drove an '03 9-5( I have a leased '''00 9-3,5 spd.,leather,moonroof) the 9-5 is fantastic..great new colors..terrific leather seats-pebble grain and soft...mine are currently slippery and hard..not as comfortable as new ones( I noted even the new 9-3 leather is pebble and softer,,)the auto transmission has wheel shifters but I think that is just a toy since if you have the tranny in s mode the shifting seems to be the same..the basic 4 seems good enough especially in sport mode...tcs and 16" wheels..no body roll,,,I would love to trade up on a good lease offer...btw, can you negotiate the purchase price on a saab lease special to decrease the lease payments or are those lease specials set.??thanks.
