My thought is that most mechanical, but not much body or > trim. The two cars are very different. The engine is really the only major component they have in common. The brakes from a 9000 are the same as a 1988> 900. Even with the engine, there are some big hurdles to overcome. In a 900, the engine is mounted longitudinally, where as in a 9000 it's transverse. This means a fair bit of modification to a 900 engine before it'll fit in a 9000. Unless you're doing it for the fun of it, it simply isn't worth it. If it's just the head gasket, then replace it, that's an easy job. -- Grunff
