Subject: 92 Saab 9000 cold/damp starting problem

Hi, a young lady, neighbor/friend of ours, is having the following described problem and is being nickel and dimed to death by, well meaning but unknowing, mechanics, tow trucks and rental cars. We need a hero. On cold or damp days (we live in Vermont) her 92 Saab 9000 with manual trany, will try to start, or at best start and falter, over and over. If the battery holds out it may stay running but acceleration will still falter severely until it warms up. That's about it. In any other car, I would look at the wires or cap but I have learned about the Saab DI system module and can't help but wonder. We will appreciate any thoughts on the subject. Thanks, Bob Please reply to this email or preferably psanopsamr.net
