They say that it can wash away the=20 sludge buildup and create huge leaks in the main seals. This is what=20 happened to me. The repair cost was about $350. This was in a 1986 900 = turbo. I don't know how commonly this happens, as I'm only one little=20 guy. On the other hand, regular oil has been serving me well. My=20 ex-wife still has the 1987 9000S we bought in 1991.
