Check out Abbott Racing's website. I've got their intercooler kit on my 9000, MY95. Result noticeable at highway speed, say 70km/h onwards. I think in relation to 900, they've this "chargecooler" kit instead. Are you sure the timing chain (as opposed to BELT) needs replacement? I think they are good for the entire lifespan of the car, unlike the timing belt on the V6 engine used on 900SE 2.5V6 which needs replacement every few years.
