My vote is for Saab. I have a 9000cde and a Volvo 740 td which is of course worse in really icy roads due its rear wheel drive. Before I bought Saab I test drove many different cars, couple of them where 4wd and I find out that even here in northern Finland 4wd is actually needed only if you are towing something all the time or driving in forest or bad snowy roads. Buy the way one test driver here in Finland said once years ago that 4wd means that you can get stuck in worse places than ever and get more trouble getting out.
