I never bothered to name a car since... > My 9000 is called "Luxe Nel" (=Luxurious Nell), because the letters in the license plate are LX-NL..., and she (!) is very luxurious... The current standard Dutch license plates have 4 consonants, which can make fun names, by just adding vowels. I once owned a Citroen CX with SX-LD..., which we dubbed "SeXy LaDy"! However I also once owned a '79 CX 2.4 Prestige which I called the "Mitterand" because it felt so presidential... Just foolin' around you know, nothing serious... Nelleke PS: The SAAB radio commercials are indeed stupid. Especially the one for the business edition 9-3 a while back...
