The inference was that customers should learn to live with it. Are you using premium fuel? Have you tried switching to a different brand of fuel? The Trionic system _should_ make the fuel type irrelevant, but it might be worth a try. You also might check the spark plugs (gap). Since they act as the knock sensor, their state may have some impact on the ability to detect knock. I hope this helps. Walt Kienzle 1991 9000T
