Additionally, most components in new Saabs were designed to only fit together in one way, minimizing the possibility of assembly line quality variance problems. Most of the rattles and squeaks in the new 9-3 are related to engineering design flaws. This is pretty well documented by owners on nospam.com. That is, minor/cheap engineering changes to the car could have prevented a lot of the rattles/noises. - tex
