#1, the reverse gear can be fixed WITHOUT removing the tranny from the car. That needs to be fixed. Townsendimports.com has this documented. I did it and it was an easy job. Be patient with townsend's site. It goes down every so often and comes back a few days later. The other problem is hydraulic in nature. Either air in the lines (if it has been recently repaired) or a failing master or slave. If there is fluid on the floor near the front of the car, it is probably a slave or maybe a clutch hose. If there is fluid on the pedals and on the carper/under the carpet, it is probably a leaky master. If there is no fluid leaks, it is probably a master with a broken internal seal.
