Subject: [Saab_c900] needing source of Junior Timer contacts...
Hi,
Latest piece of the 8V turbo story... I've got the boots off the
connectors at the distributor and ignition module ends of the hall-effect
harness and been able to get the contacts out using an ingenious little
tool (really the folded wire lead on one end of a 5 watt wire-wound
resistor!) but I can't get the centre crimps to come open.
So it looks like I am going to need to buy a packet of Junior Timer
contacts. I know that Eagleday in the US has them, but I can't find
anywhere here in Australia (Sydney specifically) which does. I'll be
calling Saab outlets during the week...
Failing that, I'll mail-order a couple of packets from EagleDay since
they'll send them express international post.
Any other places I could get them from at a reasonable price without
needing to get them direct from a Tyco/AMP dealer?
Craig.
