Have a look at the Twinsaab's manual transmission rebuilding guide at:
http://www.twinsaabs.com/tranny/tranny.html
to get an idea of what's involved in a home rebuild job if you want to
attempt it yourself.
Uprated pinion bearings are sold by Swedish Dynamics I think for something
like US$200 to 300.
