Subject: Rebuild a Clutch Master Cylinder....

I removed my Clutch Mastrer Cylinder and I am trying to be build it. purchased a Clutch Master Cylinder Rebuild kit and as I was replacing all f the seals there is an extra little rubber part that I don't know where it goes. It looks like a little rubber hat. Since the seals on the inside were pretty worn I assume that this part has worn down to the black desidue in the brake fluid as I was pulling it off.also... I read that when replacing/repairing the C.M.C. you shold replace the Master hose. The new Brake Fluid and the new pressure will cause the Slave to fail because of the breakdown of the rubber inside of the hose. Is this true?-- eliasb99 ------------------------------------------------------------------------View this thread: http://www.carstalk.net/viewtopic-400723.htmlSend from http://www.carstalk.net
