Some further info: she says she has a completely clean record and I would trust her with my life. Second, I own a 2000 Ford Escort ZX2. I am 30 and male. I have liability only insurance for $525/year. I also have a clean record. Also, the liability coverage on mine is actually HIGHER than hers. I have $100k and she has only $70k. The only thing I can possibly think of is that her car is more likely to break down and cause a wreck. But still, twice as much? Seems ridiculous. I might convince her to try some other agents, but I'm doubting Amica is overcharging by 100%... j wrote: > A friend of mine has a 1992 Saab 900 that she bought about a year ago > for $1000.
