I had a new 24v Cosworth Granada, and within 8 months the laquer had
come off and corrosion was evident. Ford replaced them without question,
but they went and did it again another 8 months later.
On my 1960 Hillman Minx I have steel wheels wot don't kerb, corrode or
bend like alloys. I reckon alloys are a con on the public.
