I was surprised to read a test of 9-5 2.3t BioPower in Daily Telegraph:
"The only pity is that the 9-5 into which the engine is bolted is one
of the oldest and creakiest of all large cars on sale now".
OK, the 9-5 was first introduced in 1998, but its a genuine Saab design,
(Yes, I know it has GM components, but not as much as the 9-3) and it was
been updated several times, so what's the problem with that? Or perhaps
the motoring journo is of the ipod generation where only the latest fad
will do? Marketing over engineering?
