Formally on Roosevelt Rd in West Chicago, now in Batavia on Fabyan
Parkway (way better location and building).  Steve and Phil are very
knowledgeable on Saabs.  They maintain and fix both my 1999 and 2001
9-5s.  Prices are reasonable and they have always been very fair to
me.  Mike retired in 2003 and head mechanic Steve is the new owner.
I recommend them to anyone in the Kane and DuPage county area.

Euro Pro Automotive was located in West Chicago on Rt. 38 for 15
years when it was owned by Mike Kindlen.  When Mike grew tried of
the business of fixing cars he went to work for BMW training their
mechanics for dealers in the Midwest.  He sold the business to his
long time lead mechanic Steve Wicks several years ago.

After two years Steve Wicks moved the business to a larger facility
in Batavia just south of the old location.  The new location is located
just east of Kirk Rd. on Fabyan Pkwy. Or about two miles south of Rt.
38 (Roosevelt Rd).  The new facility has a comfortable waiting room and
a place for young children to play with toys while you discuss your auto
issues with one of the mechanics or Steve himself.

I have been taking my car to Euro Pro for over 15 years and have been
able to rely on excellent service from Steve and his mechanics.  I do
some of my own maintenance work / minor repairs and consider myself a
pretty good "shade tree" mechanic but when I get stuck and cannot figure
out how to do something Steve has been helpful with sharing his expertise
so I could complete the repair myself.  All of the mechanics at Euro Pro
are ASE certified and have more that 10 years of experience in European
car repair.  They specialize in VW, Volvo, Mercedes, Saab, BMW, and Porsche.
Although I have also seen Hondas, Toyotas and other makes at the shop as
well.  One advantage of having a garage like Euro Pro, Steve and company
will really take the time to discuss in depth you what is going on with your
Saab when you drop it off and pick it up.  Car repairs are expensive and
Steve always tells you what the repairs are going to cost and will contact
you prior to doing anything with out your approval, so there are no surprises
when you pick up your car. I purchased my first Saab in 1985 from
Wigglesworth Saab (now closed) and have been taking my cars to Euro Pro since
I discovered them in 1990 I highly recommend them to my friends and would
offer them up to anyone else as an honest garage that gets the job done right
the first time.

Right now I own three Saabs a 1990 Convertible, 1995 9000 Aero, and a 1999
9-5 all have well over 100,000 miles on them, all three are very safe capable
cars thanks to the advice and work done on them by the Euro Pro Plus Team of
mechanics.

vintage Sonnett parked right in front!) Adam and his mechanics have made my
owning a Saab a true pleasure.

Friendly, professional people.  Let you know what's wrong with your car
before you pay a dime.  And if you're on a tight budget, they'll let you
know which repairs can wait. I've been a loyal customer for 4 years.

Not a SAAB specific shop but in a town without a SAAB dealership, or
service, Rick's is certainly the best choice. Excellent, precise outfit,
reasonable/high prices (Shop rate: $55). Very knowledgeable what SAAB
vehicles are concerned, fast service. Parts are typically obtained overnight.
Rick is a little grumpy, but he certainly knows his trade.
