Rare version of a rare car, as very few 2-door hardtop Lightning Blue Viggens are 2000 model w/increased factory HP and torque. Well maintained w/synthetic oil. Looks and drives great. Adult owned/driven (non-smoker). Comes with both key fobs and owner’s manual. Nice Ronal rims with minimal curb rash and newer Continental tires. Some scratches and dings, but overall the paint/exterior and the interior are in great shape. No dashboard cracks or leather rips or tears. Driver’s seat has typical side bolster wear. No broken or missing exterior or interior parts. Everything that worked when new works now. Do not need two cars and only have one parking space. Paid for, and every day it hasn’t sold is another day I get to drive it, so low-ball offers will not be considered. Work performed by Saab specialists since purchased from Cadillac dealership in September of 2011 includes: new AC compressor (AC blows cold), new power steering lines, new exhaust system, new front struts and lower control arms, professionally reconditioned ACC and SID display units, and recent engine service w/PCV 6 upgrade (May 2013).

This car is rock solid mechanically and has been fully serviced all its life. Mileage is currently is 204,000 miles. Most importantly, I replaced the water pump, all four ignition coils, serpentine belt, air filter, oil and filter, spark plugs, fuel pump, water pump, computer and a brand new clutch. Also, front struts and rear shocks. Wife's car, second owner. Garaged all its life - this car is immaculate. Tires one year old, new brakes, roters, etc. Maintained by a Saab fanatic.

I absolutely love driving this car. Shifts great and has plenty of power. Have to sell because I moved to Japan for work and could not ship it with me. I am very proud Viggen owner. You don't see too many of these cars on the streets. Great interior with common wear on the drivers seat. Exterior (no rust) is similar to other Viggens I've seen. Bumper rash from normal driving (came that way when I bought it). I lost the front 2 jack covers in DC in 2011 when I lived there. I put in a new battery and 4 brand new tires prior to passing NY inspection in November. Oil changed recently (by my dad who's taking care of the car, always used synthetic). New brake pads, rotors and new driver side caliper put in October 2011. I bought the car in 2007 and there were some modifications done by the original owner including navigation system. GPS hasn't worked in a few years, but I believe it just needs an updated CD. Car comes with some extras like rails for a roof rack, touch up paint, and some other items. I am very sad to get rid of this car, but my loss is your gain. Please e-mail me with any questions. I will forward them to my father or brother.

The car is in great shape for its age and still very fun to drive. I bought the car in 2005 with approximately 105,000 miles as the third owner. I am selling because I just purchased a new car and hope that someone else will be able to enjoy this car as I have. SID and ACC displays are looking good (common failure in these cars) because I recently replaced both. Car will come with summer and snow tires and wheels. The snow tires are mounted on black steel rims and summer tires are mounted on classic 3-spoke Saab design. Both sets of tires are a few years old. Also included is a Thule roof rack for the car. It has rectangular bars. The rear bar has a bit of cosmetic damage but works perfectly. Email me with questions.

Description: - 2001 Saab Viggen 2.3L with 108,xxx miles. - Motor was re-built by
JZW and has JE coated pistons, bearings, and flowed cylinder head less than 1k
miles ago. - SQR Stage "4" custom road tune by frank. 3"GS v2 dp,
2.5" BSR exhaust, King Cobra pipe, Forge intercooler, Forge recirc valce,
GS intake, T5 Cams. - Built transmission by Harvey's Autohaus that has a quaife
diff and lowmileage cobalt internals. Less than 3k miles on transmission. - New
td04 turbo center section. - New saab oem fuel pump. - New pads and rotors (also
has stainless flex lines). - New dic, maf, and TB, plugs, vac lines and AC
Compressor - B&G springs and koni adjustables, new strut mounts, bearings
and bushings, and GS Control arms in the last 30k miles. - GS "squid strut
bar" and GS 22mm rARB and GS subframe brace. - E-code headlight lenses. -
Avic head unit with nav and ipod interface. - GS short shifter. - BBS RK1 wheels
(summer tires have probably one more season). - 16in open lug vikings with
nordfrost snows. - saab roof racks. Lots of other parts and receipts. little to
no wear on driver's seat bolster. there is a small area of rust starting on the
bottom lip of the trunk hatch where it meets the bumper, easily DIY fixable. Car
is very quick on the stock hardware and is all set to have large turbo bolted
on. No more room for a 3rd vehicle and need it gone. More $ in parts invested in

This 2001 Viggen in good condition. It is for sale by the only owner. Mechanically, this car drives great and is in good condition. Service records are available from 2007 to present. Prior service was done at the dealership where this car was purchased which has since gone out of business. The car has heated leather seats and a new sony radio. There is some paint damage (scuffs and scratches) on the Driver side and bumpers. Also the clear coat has worn off on the bumpers. The interior is in great condition except for wear on the driver's seat and rear roof upholstery near the hatch. Overall, the cosmetic condition is fair for a car this age. Driving a Viggen is a unique experience and with a little cosmetic work this car will be a wonderful gem for the saab enthusiast. Email for additional photos.

Very rare black Viggen (only 251 imported to US) with black leather. There is a good reason this car was named after a jet: turbocharged 235 hp and incredibly fast. All original including Viggen badging, has been meticulously maintained and garaged since new (originally from PA). You would be hard pressed to find another Viggen in this kind of condition. Now wearing 16" Saab wheels; I have the original 17" Viggen wheels with passable Pirelli 6000 tires (2 rims slightly bent, other 2 good).

Truly a very special performance car. Factory Hot Rod. Larger engine 2.3 vs. 2.0 in standard 9-3 also bigger brakes and different suspension. Complete aero package developed by F1 team Red Bull!! Very cool interior with two tone blue/charcoal leather. Special seats with side bolsters - 6 way electric adjust and seat heaters. Some suspension upgrades and tweaks. Second set of wheels.
