Parts available for a going 86 Turbo 900 5 door It had a minor crash so decided
to wreak it. Not very prevalent in this area so will give away the good bits
before it goes to the recyclers. Some of the smaller parts I can send overseas
and some parts I would appreciate a small "donation". Also disposing of a 89 NA
900 2 door. Would have been a lovely car to get going, but other commitments
don't allow time required. It just needs a clutch slave to go. It was given to

Just wanted to let you know I'm giving up on my 73 99 that was involved in a
front end crash, and if you want/need any parts, or the whole car, let me know.
The car is Santa Clara, CA. If you want the whole car, great. Please, no scrap
guys. The front is smashed, radiator flat, tranny cracked, but otherwise has
workable parts. The hand brake cables were custom made recently! New water pump
in engine, which is a 900 early vintage, but fits fine. Is D-jetronic fuel
injected. Electronic ignition, etc.. Workable distributor, rebuilt engine.
Interior is good, although speedo is dead. Shocks are good (replace Bilstiens
recently), springs are good. (I have other D-Jetronics parts too). -PEM

My 97 9000 cs, color scarab green, beige leather interior, has died at 175k+
miles, engine blew up, fault traced to driver's seat. Body in fair shape.
Everything still there. Only issue I have is that my local small garage guy, not
at all a Saab man, is also trying to get rid of it, presumably for a $100 or
$200 for himself, so hurry if you want it, in case he succeeds. Title no
problem, but obviously needs to be towed, from Bergen near Passaic in NJ.

heart to let this car go because it has such an interesting history. European
delivery with paperwork, still has speedo conversion sticker on dash. Has very
rare grill enhancement package, factory installed. This was a one family car
until I bought and stored it, with the intention of restoring it to its former
glory. Needs complete restoration, including new windshield and floor pan work.
Will include substantial parts cache for the right person. Relocation forces me
to dispose of the car. Please, serious inquiries only. Many people emailed or
called me to express interest on the first go round, so I'll answer some of the
more common questions: --- YES, I have pictures, but I'll only send them once
you've contacted me to let you know you're serious. --- NO, the car is not
driveable. Like it said in the original ad, the car needs a complete
restoration, including a windshield. --- YES, the car has rust. Like it says in
the original ad, the car needs floor pan work. If you're a purist, or wanted a
show car, you'd order the expensive replacement parts and spend big money to
have them welded in. If you're like me, and don't want a show car, you could pay
a welder a few hundred bucks to patch them. But to repeat, NO, the car is not
driveable. --- NO, I cannot transport the car to you, and NO, you cannot drive
it 3000 miles back to wherever you life. This is a PROJECT car or if you prefer
a really interesting parts car. I'm glad to help you load it up on a flatbed or
trailer, and I have a pile of parts I will send with the car. I want to see it
go to a good home. THIS CAR WILL GO BY THE END OF FEBRUARY. If someone wants to
come and save it, that would make me very happy. But if not I'll pick it as
clean as I can and send the rest to the Great Smelter in the Sky. Seriously

Free 1987 8 Valve motor. I removed it 4-5 years ago. It has well over 100k on
it, but it ran great. Free 1988 900 Automatic trans. This trans was rebuilt by
CRS. It failed in 20k. It doesn't shift out of 1st gear. I tried cleaning the
governor, but that didn't help. It probably has something stuck in the valve
body. Could be any easy fix. It has 2 good inner drivers. Free Classic 900 hood,
79 type with two vents. Charcoal grey color. No rust, but paint isn't perfect.
Free Grey early 9000 hood. Rust free, nice paint. Free 900 rear hatch. Odd
color, but rust free. Has a minor dent in it. Free early 900 (pre 87) bumpers
Free SAAB 95 (NOT 9-5) wagon roof rack. Fits vintage saab wagon. All of this
stuff is located near Chadds Ford PA. I am available some evenings and some
weekends. There is a garage full of old SAAB crap. I'm sure you'll leave with
something else not listed hear too.

I have approximately 20-30 saabs mostly 900s & 9000s in the earlier years 85 to
93 and 5 900s 94 and up that I have to dispose of before the Feb 20 unless the
county gives me an extension on the removal. I tried to keep some of the cars
for rebuilding purposes but they are costing me more to store than its worth.
Starting this week I will star crushing the picked over cars and move to the
complete vehicles next. We had some thieves steal practically all the cat
converters so the autos that run are noisey.Other than that there are plenty of
