In the Saab 9-5 model range, the sedan model was up 36 percent over December 1999 sales (1,426 units vs. 1,052) and the wagon's sales increased 35 percent over December 1999 (517 vs. 382). For calendar year 2000, the Saab 9-5 Wagon surpassed the company's annual sales forecast with a total of 5,879 9-5 Wagons sold. This is Saab's best December ever for its large car platform.
