The base price of the Saab is almost $4k less. The Saab was the "Double Best Pick" safety winner not the CTS. How important is mom?

Dunno' what specials Caddy has on CTS', but there's $3-4k of lease and purchase incentives on 9-3's right now.

You'll probably save $6-8k on a 9-3 vs a CTS. The Saab comes with 3/36 free maintenance too.

For the price of a CTS you might even get a 9-5 Arc if you allow for comparable equipment and incentive programs, The 9-5 is more often compared to the CTS in size, although the 9-3 is as big inside, and in the back seat, as a CTS.

If she likes the CTS and has the extra money it ain't a bad car. Very dynamically styled, very competitive in the segment.
