Let me tell you something very similiar to your experience.

My friend picked up a Saturn Vue for his wife, the car was 3 days old and he dropped it off for some detail service. He comes the next day to pick up the car, No car insight. No keys to be found. No service record for the vehicle. Gone!

They later located the vehicle downtown detroit, every thing gone inside (plus his GM employee swipe badge, Passport, GreenCard, spare keys (for a rental property) everything!) And the dealer tried to say that they were not liable. And no camera at the lot. BTW the ignition was intact.

So I wouldn't put it past anyone at the dealership messing with your cars, if you were a $8.00/hr shop help guy, and your boss was a jerk, sure you would be tempted to swipe a few radios/cars to get even. That's how I see it.
