Ok..read the whole issue...it looks to me like the 9-3 has improved in ALL categories in the last 2 years..yet they still give it a 'much lower than average' reliability rating for 2005. If it's any consolation, the upper series model MB's also got crap for ratings.
What's really depressing is that it seems if you want a car that is ultra reliable, and that owners would buy again over and over, you gotta go japanese! The list reads Honda, Toyota, Acura, Infinit, Lexus, and some Mazda. I'll give Lexus their kudo's, they're beautifully built cars, but I find jap cars boring and uncomfortable for long hauls..just my opinion!
After reading the magazine, I'm not as leary about my car....in fact went out an drove it a bit right after..and when I got out to go into the house, I turned back and my rear emblem sticker fell off! I had to laugh!
