more torque than the current SE. The current SE has 205 hp and 209 lb.ft. @ 2200-4800rpm. The new 9-3 Arc and Vector have 210 hp and 221 lb.ft. @ 2500-4500 rpm. This seems to be an improvement to me.
And because the new car has a better chassis, the boost shouldn't be as limited in first and second gears, so I'm guessing the new car will be as fast or faster in a straight line. And if you throw in some curves it's no comparison.
