moeman, most drivers don't use the power that they have, why do you think
they need more? I *only* see Saabs driving just as slow as the common Camry.

I agree that most people read the magazine tests and think that they know
something...ohhh i have this much HP and this much G force! But they don't
really know anything and they rarely, if ever, push their cars to these limits.

You want the V6 for power & status, and american-car ground clearance,
which is a bizarre combination I think. I think Subaru does this combo best. I live in CA also, but I think roads are fine for my '04SSAero,
but I do pay attention all the time and don't run into potholes.
