I have owned 2 volvos and 1 audi prior to purchasing my new Saab and had all of them serviced from a Repair shop in Milwaukee (Brookfield) WI. I know you were on your way to chicago, maybe you live in Chicago?? But they are an EXCELLENT source for import repairs. Brookfield is 1 1/2 hours from Chicago....
I would swear by them any day of the week, they fix a ton of porchses, ferraris, rolls, benz's, and a ton of saabs.

Ask for Mike (owner) or Rob his service manager. They are both excellent sources and may give you tons of advice on what to do about your engine issue. Sometimes they would recommend rebuilding the motor rather than replacing it...... They do their own engine rebuild on porsches....
Good luck!!!!
