2005 9-3 Linear Hot & Cold Leather Seats

After 10 years enjoying cloth seats in a 900 (had to go to Sweden to get it) I had to take leather seats in my new Saab. In our hot and humid climate the Linear's leather seats are sticky and warm. I like the open windows and am not about to button up into an artifical environment because some GM market analysis decided leather was better for the "luxury" car image. Seats were even uncomfortably warm in July driving in Norway! Obviously there is a real problem when ventilated leather seats are standard in the higher Saab models.
Has anyone else felt this way? I'd like to hear from others who would prefer to have fabric seats. Maybe together we can change GM's attitude.
As a stopgap measure has anyone found fabric seat covers for a Linear?
