Battery failure - AGAIN!!!

Yesterday was the 3rd time in a 3 year, 35k history with a 9-3SS Linear (2003)that I have left the car unattended, (this one was 6 days) locked in my driveway (no key in the ignition!) during a business trip or vacation to discover upon my return that the battery is DEAD.
Previous fixes under warrantee included soothing words from the service department and a new battery. No clues as to what might be draining the battery. Today's event occurred just 5 weeks after the last occurance and so the battery was brand new!!!
Today the SAAB break-down service couldn't even get the car out of PARK with a supplemental battery but did tell me that he tows about 3 9-3SS's each week with similar symptoms.
So what's going on that the Service Department can't or won't tell me? I cannot accept that a car cannot be left for a week without failure. Airport parking lots will soon fill-up with Saab 9-3's! Has anyone got a clue as to what might be going on here?? Something is draining the electrics BIG TIME.
