Do 9-3ss's have a battery drain problem?

I'm on my 2nd 9-3SS (both 2003's) and between them the battery has drained 4 times while the car was left unused for periods of around 10 days. Tow truck driver claims he collects lots of Saabs with the same problem. My dealer has fixed the problem under warrantee and replaced the battery each time.

The most recent occasion - 4 weeks ago - my local dealer pointed to a new Sirrius radio installation (not at the Saab dealership)as the cause. I was VERY skeptical but had no basis to argue with them and paid $200 to have the installation dis-connected. The Saab dealer "cannot" re-connect the Sirrius because they only handle XM Radio & Sirrius is "different". Nor can they tell me which hot wire to use for safe re-connection.

What is going on here?

I think that my Saab - and probably others - have a battery drain problem.
I'd like to use my Sirrius radio without it being the excuse for my local dealer to refuse future problems.

Any suggestions? Any idea for safe connection?

PS I do have the opportunity of leaving the car for a week as is (Sirrius disconnected) if the battery drains again, I'll have a case.
