Exact same problem- and sorry- no solution yet. I had thought about double sided carpet tape, but thought the adhesive would leave a residue? The mat doesn't move out of position during normal driving, but I have noticed that the mat will eventually slide up and block the clutch pedal if I am in and out of the car frequently, and my car won't start.
