In the USA list price is $5400 higher for the Aero. For that money, you get:
a) The contents of the $2000 "premium package" (better radio, xenon lights, power passenger seat, fog lights
b)Different front and side spoilers, dual exhaust and blacked out rear valence trim
c) Sports suspension
d) "Vector" interior trim (note, unlike the sedans, the Aero CV seats are not significantly different from the standard CV seats)
e) Engine with more and smoother power delivery
f) Free ticket to the Aero Academy, priced at $1350 for "guests".
g) Six speed transmission
h) The "opportunity" to purchase, for an additional $1200, a package containing memory buttons on the driver's seat, backing-up alarm, rain sensing wipers, self dimming mirrors, and remote control operation of windows and top.

If one values the 2.0T "premium package" enough to buy it, then the Aero and all it's features lists for $3500 more (than a 2.0T with premium package). Back out the value of the Aero Academy and it's $2150. Buying through IDS knocks another $490 off the difference, although a sharp buyer might be able to trim some of that from a dealer. That's for the V-6 engine, upgraded transmission, sports suspension, curb-scraping ground effect chin spoiler, silver interior trim bits and stylish seats covers. If you *must have* a backing up alarm, rains sensing wipers, and show-your-friends remote top and window operation, then the choice is clear.
